Score 3 or lower – LOW caries risk

Score 4-7 – MODERATE caries risk

Score 8 and above – HIGH caries risk

Here Are Some Things You Can Do To Reduce Your Risk Of Cavities

  2. If you cannot brush your teeth right away after a meal, rinse your mouth.

  4. Eliminate the habit of snacking and frequent sipping of sugary drinks.

  6. If your city or township water is fluoridated, drink tap water to benefit from the healthy effects of fluoride.
  7. Consider getting dental sealants to eliminate pits and fissures on the top surfaces of your teeth that can cause cavities.
  8. Chew sugar-free gum to stimulate production of saliva if you have dry mouth.
